We are excited to announce that our grant cycle will reopen on March 1, 2026, and will accept applications through April 1, 2026.


All applications must be received or postmarked by March 31st, 2026.

About HelpCureHD

Our Mission

 HelpCureHD is dedicated to eradicating Huntington’s disease, one healthy baby at a time.


Through our signature PGT-IVF Grant Program, we provide critical financial support to families at risk for Huntington’s disease, empowering them to pursue in-vitro fertilization with preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-IVF) and have children who are HD-free.


In addition to direct grant funding, HelpCureHD actively organizes fundraising initiatives to expand access to IVF treatment and connect families with educational resources, financial guidance, and support systems. Our mission is simple but powerful: eliminate the HD gene from future generations and give families hope, choice, and a healthy future.

There is currently no cure for Huntington’s disease. When one parent carries the HD gene, each child has a 50% chance of inheriting the condition.


 Advancements in reproductive medicine now offer hope. Through PGT-IVF (preimplantation genetic testing with in vitro fertilization), embryos can be tested for the HD gene, and only embryos free of the mutation are transferred. This process allows families at risk to have biological children who will not inherit Huntington’s disease.


However, the cost of PGT-IVF is significant — often ranging from $30,000 to $40,000 per attempt — placing it out of reach for many families.


Your support helps bridge this financial gap, providing families with access to life-changing treatment and the opportunity to build HD-free futures.
